Rakurs-Engineering: Results of the Congress in Tbilisi

In the middle of February, 2017 Rakurs-Engineering took part in the International Congress and Exhibition “Hydropower. The Caspian and Central Asia” in Tbilisi, Georgia, conducting negotiations with Iran and India, as well as representatives of Nurekskaya HPP in Tajikistan which is planned for big reconstruction.

Rakurs General Manager Leonid Chernigov and the Head of hydropower business line of the company Kirill Kravets took part in the events of the Congress and Exhibition “Hydropower. The Caspian and Central Asia”. During two days of the Congress they met with manufacturers of major equipment such as Alstom and Tyazhmash JSC, representatives of hydropower plants of Tajikistan and Kirghizia, AES Kazakhstan, RusHydro management, servicing companies. 

Such meetings with representatives of companies from Iran, India, Kirghizia and Tajikistan can have perspectives as new projects of construction and modernization of big, medium and small hydropower plants are planned in these regions. Turnkey projects, own element base, national automation solutions competitive in quality and price with foreign analogs, foreign experience will let Rakurs actively compete for participation in forthcoming large projects.

Rakurs management gave a high appraisal of the Congress level and participants emphasizing importance of such meetings and opinions exchange with the leading experts of the sector.
