Rakurs is a system integrator at Zelenchukskaya HPP-PSPP

Zelenchukskaya HPP-PSPP was commissioned on December 23, 2016 in Karachai-Cherkess. The plant’s hydraulic units’ capacity is 160 MW in normal pump operation and 140 MW in turbine operation. Rakurs-Engineering was performing works on the plant equipping with automatic control systems from 2014 to December 2016. The Company realized united SCADA level of a complex control system in order to provide integration of all plant’s local automatic control systems and possibility of the plant’s equipment operational monitoring.

Rakurs control system for steam turbine plant provides interaction of automatic control systems for hydraulic unit and steam turbine plant performed by other participants of the project.

Rakurs realized the following works:

  • Control system for gas insulated switchgear 330/110кV providing no-break power to network from the plant generating equipment;

  • Control systems for emergency bulkhead gates of daily pondage basin and downstream reach, control systems for hydraulic facilities, control systems for switchgear-10 kV and generator switchgear-10 kV, monitoring systems for transformer equipment;
  • Relay protection and automation for pump-turbine units was implemented, switchgear technical metering was realized.
