SPC “Rakurs” has manufactured and shipped the equipment for automated control of the small HPP “Lyaskelya” station equipment . The automated control system of station equipment is completed in accordance with the requirements of CJSC “Nord Hydro" engineering documentation.

The first practical step of “Nord Hydro” in realization of the agreement with the Republican government was the reconstruction of the small hydropower plant “Lyaskelya”. It’s situated on the river Yanis-Yoki in Karelia (Lyaskelya village Pitkyarantskiy region) having been built in 19th century by Finnish manufacturers. The power of this HPP will increase more than twice in comparison with the “Finnish predecessor” and will be about 4.8 MW.

The old hydropower plant’s constructions, having become one of the main tourist attractions of Pitkyarantskiy region, mostly will not be reconstructed saving their historical look.
