Gissarakskaya HPP hydro-units have produced the first electricity for the network

A new hydro-power plant to generate power using water of the Gissarakskiy reservoir has been put into operation in Miraki village (Shakhrisabzskiy region of Kashkadarinskaya oblast, Uzbekistan). While operating at max performance, two hydro-units of Gissarakskaya HPP have generated electric power into the network. Gissarakskaya HPP hydro-units are equipped with an up-to-date automated control system which is based on software and hardware complex Apogey manufactured by SPC Rakurs. Rakurs specialists have accomplished a full scope of works, including design, production, calibration and commissioning of automated control system at Gissarakskaya HPP.

The main functions of Gissarakskaya HPP automated control system include the following:

· Control of units and their auxiliary mechanisms when switching between various operating modes;

· Generation of alarm signals;

· Temperature control of unit parts;

· Measurements and archiving of technological parameters;

Display of technological information on terminals and automated work stations.
