LMZ has tested the equipment for Boguchanskaya HPP

A technical condition of hydro-mechanical governor and control panel of software and hardware complex of Boguchanskaya HPP hydraulic turbines’ electro-hydraulic regulator (SHC EHR) has been tested on the site of OJSC Power Machines Leningrad Metallurgic Works. The control panel of SHC EHR has been produced by SPC Rakurs.
Functional testing of hydro-mechanical governor and control panel has been carried out in accordance with the specification of SHC EHR factory acceptance testing. Testing results demonstrated a full compliance of the equipment with customer’s technical documentation and requirements.
The main functions of SHC EHR include the following:
· Control of active power and frequency of HPP units in both automatic and manual modes;
· Activation of unit protection systems and mechanisms in emergency;
· Control and monitoring of all types of electro-hydraulic drives.
Software and hardware complex is based on programmable logic controllers (PLC) that boast high reliability and durable MTBF (mean time between failures).
