Start of building the Scientific and Technical Center “Rakurs Engineering "

November, 18th at 13.00 at the territory of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) “Saint-Petersburg” was a ceremony of laying a capsule in the foundation of “Rakurs Engineering" Scientific and Technical Center. “Rakurs Engineering” is the first resident of SEZ "Saint Petersburg", who has released a practical implementation stage of their project.

 In commemoration of start of construction of the Scientific and Technological center “Rakurs Engineering”, the participants laid at the foundation stone the memorial capsule with letter wherein specified the time of start, the place and names of participants.

Vice-governor of St. Petersburg says, that the project of special economic zone in St. Petersburg continues its motion and development, and resident-companies are passing to the most crucial and decisive phase, when it’s necessary to invest financial resources. "This means that they have accepted the concept of their participation in the development of SEZ project", - Mikhail Oseyevsky said. Laying of a capsule in the foundation of Scientific and Technical Center “Rakurs-Engineering” is a significant event on eve of the 20 years anniversary of the company "Rakurs", which will be at the next year. Other significant step is accommodation of Rakurs R&D department in administrative and business center of "Neudorf" SEZ. R&D department is already engaged in developing of special measuring instrumentation for control of turbo and hydroelectric units operating conditions.

Measuring tools are used in control systems produced by the company. Producing of these devices will be started here at the territory of SEZ during the first half of 2011.
