The aim of the course is to acknowledge with the device, key principals of work, set up and programming of SIMOREG converters.

The course contents:

· Principals of work and main features of SIMOREG electro drive;

· Functions, structure and installation of SIMOREG converters;

· Parameters setting for SIMOREG converters;

· Structures of control and forming of SIMOREG electro drive static and dynamic characteristics.

The course is aimed at engineers designing and maintaining control systems with installed specified drives. The skills of parameters setting for SIMOREG DC

MASTER electro drive motor, converter, structure and regulator have been developed at laboratory practical work. The exercises shall be executed on the bench equipped with a computer, SIMATIC S7-300 controller, SIMOREG DC MASTER frequency converter and constant current motor.
