RAKURS HAS DELIVERED A COMPLEX OF EQUIPMENT TO SHULBINSKAYA HPP

Rukurs has delivered “Automated control system for hydro unit No.1” and “Software and hardware complex of upper level” to Shulbinskaya HPP in spring 2012. The equipment has been assembling by the contractor at the present moment. Adjustment of the equipment is planned from September to November 2012.

The contract’s scope includes works on hydromechanical column and emergency closing valve control system modernization, installation of up-to-dated software and hardware complex of electrohydraullic regulator of frequency and active power (PTC EHR), software and hardware complex of oil-pressure installation control (PTC MNU) and modernization of hydro unit automated control system (PTC AUG installation and adjustment).

PTC EHR and PTC MNU are serial products designed by Rakurs-engineering Ltd. acting at the territory of Neudorf Special Economic Zone and realizing the project “Designing and adoption of software and hardware complexes pilot production for objects of energy sector of Russia”.

The main functions of PTC EHR include the following:

· Control of active power and frequency of HPP units in both automatic and manual modes;

· Activation of unit protection systems and mechanisms in emergency;

· Control and monitoring of all types of electro-hydraulic drives.

The main function of PTC MNU is maintenance of parameters of control system hydraulic amplifiers operating fluid (oil) in the limits providing warranty of regulation.

Rakurs experience in technological automation sphere at industrial objects of Kazakhstan Republic is not limited just by Shulbinskaya HPP. Automation projects have been recently completed at Ust-Kamenogorskaya HPP (2010-2011), TPP of Sokolovsko-Sarbayskiy GOK (2010). Deliveries and start-up and adjustment of serial products have been performed: STK-R-M for TPP turbo generator of Sokolovsko-Sarbayskoe GPO (2010), STK-R-M for Petropavlovskaya TPP-2 turbo generator (2011), electric part of regulating and protecting system for UTZ CJSC turbine for Petropavlovskaya TPP-2 (2012), electric part of regulating and protecting system and STK-R-M of Astaninskaya TPP-2 turbo generator (2010).
