Electric part of regulating and protecting system is one of SPC Rakurs’ standard products. The last implementation was system’s start-up under Ural Turbine Works’ order. Cogeneration turbine Т-113/145-12,4 for Krasnodarskaya TPP combined-cycle plant was the automation object. The turbine has been designed for operation by steam from boiler- utilizer.

Implementation of modern electro hydraulic regulating and protecting systems at low power and average power turbines has a number of actual advantages and opportunities.

Electric part of regulating and protecting system manufactured by SPC Rakurs is based on fast-acting industrial controllers and other automation components serially produced by OMRON Japanese Corporation.

Additional cabinet with dataware equipment and necessary control instruments is placed for turbine control. Possibility to change quickly regulators tuning coefficients allows controlling all modes of operation with no turbine’s stoppage. Three channels of rotor rotation speed measuring allow regulating turbine rotor rotation frequency with high reliability.

As for over speed protection there is used three-channel over speed protection system. Stoppage signal is formed by electric part of regulating and protecting system main controller and backed-up by circuit realization, therefore in case of main controller’s fault protection system continues to operate and realize its function.
