Regulating and protecting system for turbine of Petropavlovskaya TPP-2

SPC Rakurs has shipped hardware and software measuring complex of electric part of regulating and protecting system for steam turbine designed for rotor rotation frequency control at a new steam single-cylinder turbine Т-50/60-8,8 manufactured by the Ural Turbine Works for Petropavlovskaya TPP-2 (AO SevKazEnergo).

Electric part of regulating and protecting system providing turbo unit protection from exceeding of technological parameters acceptable value realizes the following functions:

· Turbine rotor rotation frequency control when start-up and stop;

· Generator synchronization with a network;

· Turbo unit capacity control;

· Working steam in front of turbine control and steam pressure control;

· Turbine stop by three-channel disengaging clutch in case of rotor limit rotation frequency (duplicated by controller).

Turbo unit (start-up/stop, regulators switching-on/switching off, regulators parameters changing) is controlled by operator.

Supply of the equipment including hardware and software measuring complex of electric part of regulating and protecting system for turbine has been realizing according to the schedule agreed with the Customer. In the end of March a new steam single-cylinder

turbine Т-50/60-8,8 was successfully tested at the Ural Turbine Works assembly stand. The new turbine of Ural production has been designed to replace a double-cylinder Czech turbine Р-33-90/1,3of Skoda manufacturing to be assembled on the same foundation. The project of the turbine replacement has been prepared by AO KazNIPIEnergoprom, a long-term partner of the Ural Turbine Works.
