Control system for Kambaratinskaya HPP-2

SPC "Rakurs" developed the local control system of the hydroelectric unit №1 for Kambaratinskaya HPP-2. The control system on the basis of hardware and software complex "Apogey" is intended to perform the functions of management, protection, control, registration of operating modes of the main and auxiliary equipment of radial-axial hydroturbine РО75/841в-В-580 ЛМЗ with nominal capacity of 122,5MW and rated head of 47,5m.

Main objective of control system developing is creation of an integrated control system of the process equipment of hydroelectric unit for the purpose of complex process management of turbine output of Kambaratinskaya HPP-2.

Implementation of the control system on the basis of hardware and software complex "Apogey" will provide required level of work reliability of main and auxiliary equipment, and also necessary safety in electric installation of hydroelectric unit.

Increase of work reliability of the equipment is reached at the expense of:

  • decrease of probability of emergencies situations by prevention of obviously incorrect actions of the personnel;
  • realization of operative monitoring and diagnostics of a condition of the equipment without participation of the personnel and a timely putting the equipment in repair;
  • forecasting of probable emergencies on the basis of diagnostics of the condition and definition of residual life of the equipment.

Using of the modern control system on the basis of hardware and software complex "Apogey" of SPC "Rakurs" allows:

  • to improve working conditions of the personnel by creation of the uniform human-computer interface and implementation of optimization system of data providing;
  • to prevent obviously incorrect actions of the personnel by implementing of program blocking of switchgear control;
  • to raise the level of operation reliability by duplicating of hardware and software of the control system and duplicating of the communication equipment and sensors of technological automatics.

The system is developed with entirely accordance to requirements of "Rostehnadzor" and to branch supervising documents on level of safety and fail-safety of technological process.
