SPC "Rakurs" at the start-up of the unit of Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin gave a command to start the 4th hydroelectric unit of Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP. On his signal vice-premier Igor Sechin pressed the button and connected the unit to power grid. During the preparation for the start-up SPC "Rakurs" performed the big work on creation of the new advanced control system for the hydroelectric unit. Control system of SPC "Rakurs" was executed according to recommendations on prevention of anthropogenic disasters of the "Act of technical investigation of the causes of accidents" and was placed in commission after acceptance tests.

By addition this unit to already started units number 5 and number 6 to commercial operation the plant will develop capacity of 1920 MW and can minimize risks of flood routing miss and the guaranteed water supply of the population, the industrial and social objects located in tail-water of the hydropower plant.

In the control system of the hydroelectric unit №4 there were included hardware and software complexes which provide: automatic control of the hydroelectric unit, oil-pressure installation control, measurements, the alarm system and alarm system control, vibration and temperature control of the hydroelectric unit.

On the hydroelectric unit №4, also as on 5th and 6th hydroelectric units, SPC "Rakurs" implemented the new stationary system of permanent vibrating control.
