December, 20th – Management of “Rakurs” hosted business delegation from Yangzhou, Jiangsu region, China in R&D Center “Rakurs engineering”. Aims of the negotiations were experience exchange, collaboration in up-to-date technologies and creation of friendly relations.
Delegation of businessmen from Jiangsu, China visited R&D Centre “Rakurs Engineering” in Special Economic Zone of St. Petersburg. Delegation was headed by the Chief of Yangzhou workforces and social securities department and consisted of representatives from different branches of economy (electronics, mechanics, O&G, energy generation).
Chinese guests looked at most up-to-date R&D infrastructure in automation control systems (ACS) creation. Leonid Chernigov, CEO of “Rakurs”, talked about company priorities, key expertise of “Rakurs” in power generation, current and finished project in energy plants of Russia and CIS, about experience in China.
“25 years “Rakurs” makes power generation more safe and effective. We create high-tech, modern, safe solutions and products for hydro and heat power generation. Our special measurement devices laboratory makes projects in nuclear power plants either. In 2003 we participated in construction of NPP TianWan, biggest point of economic collaboration of China and Russian Federation. I might say that “Rakurs” knows Jiangsu 13 years”, Mr. Chernigov said. He noticed that company is ready to develop collaboration and to take part in construction and modernization of energy plants in China including Jiangsu region. Chinese businessmen had interest in checking and diagnostics systems, control and protection systems, manufacturing of electronic devices and components. The Jiangsu General Factory of Water Conservancy Machinery, which constructs hydro objects (dambs, channels, water reservoirs) and energy plants (hydro power stations, pumping stations) noted, that visit to “Rakurs” was very useful.
There are many partnership opportunities in China, “Rakurs” management noticed. Jiangsu is one of most highly developed regions in China. There are 39 coal power stations, including 14 under modernization, NPP TianWan (2 GW of installed power and 4 GW are under construction), 3 pumped storage stations, wind power stations, including wind power park “Rudong” (4220 MW of installed power).
“Rakurs” executive director Andrey Misiul said: “It’s very important to comprehend the information we’ve got, to study each of us and to define directions of common working. In that case we can hope to establish effective collaboration, which includes not experience exchange only, but participation in real projects”.
