The centre of competences “Siemens – Rakurs Solution Partner” opened the educational season

The new academic year has started in the centre of competences “Siemens – Rakurs Solution Partner”. The centre graduated one more group of “students”: in august students from Novosibirskaya HPP (RusHydro) had educational program in “Rakurs-Engineering” technical development centre. Rakurs’ investments into studying courses and model desks for HPP were calculated over 3 million of rubles.

Novosibirskaya HPP’s specialists training courses gave a start for educational programs at the centre of competences “Siemens – Rakurs Solution Partner” which was opened in November, 2012. In august, 2013 the programs developed by Rakurs with its German partner had passed through first tests.

Training course for Novosibirskaya HPP, started at Siemens office and continued at Rakurs-Engineering, was lasting 2 weeks and consisted from 2 modules. Basic learning in “industrial automation components by Siemens for the technological processes control systems in hydropower” was focused on receiving the knowledge in automation components by Siemens (PCS7).

The second module was oriented on learning about the method of diagnostic and service of the program-technical complex of electro-hydraulic regulator, also on its working algorithms and interfaces to educate and prepare the engineer-technical stuff of HPP for its effective and safe exploitation.

According to Mikhail Gorohov, the head of the training centre, two more training courses are coming this year – tcourses for Zagorskaya HPP and Shulbinskaya HPP.

Training program received good feedback from its students - Novosibirskaya HPP’s specialists.

The educational agreement between Rakurs and Siemens is aimed on the development and introduction of perspective technical decisions and new automotive and control technologies in Russian power industry, high-quality training of technical stuff for safety exploitation of station’s systems and equipment. The center of competences Siemens – Rakurs Solution Partner was opened in Saint-Petersburg’s SEZ area in November, 2012.
