Rakurs-engineering has raised a frame of its building

Rakurs-engineering Ltd., a resident of Neudorf SEZ St. Petersburg, has completed a frame of its future building – scientific and technical centre. According to the construction plan a monolithic structure has been erected by January 1, 2012.

Rakurs-engineering having become a pioneer among SEZ residents in construction (the company started building of scientific and technical centre in November 2010), has been keeping leading position in the project realization. According to the construction plan a monolithic structure has been erected by the end of 2011, outdoor networks (water supply system, sewage and heating main) has been laid.

Roofing, façade works, neighbourhood improvement, indoor engineering networks, finishing works are considered to be realized at the next stages. All works are planned to be completed in autumn of 2012.

After finishing of Rakurs-engineering scientific and technical centre construction the modern infrastructure for complex control systems designing and manufacturing will be created. It will include Research and Development base for innovative products creation, testing base for the products improvement as well as production facilities for hardware and software complexes for energy sector objects.

In 2011 at the territory of administrative centre Rakurs-engineering started manufacturing of scientific and technical products – special measuring instruments to be used in its own automation projects. Production volume manufactured by the company in 2011 is 46 billion rubles.

According to Oleg Melnikov, head of SEZ St. Petersburg branch, Rakurs-engineering is a successful example of project realization for investors.

BIOKAD CJSC, NPP Lazer Systems Ltd. and Business Computer Centre St. Petersburg CJSC have started construction works in Neudorf as well. Residents Verteks CJSC, Novartis Neva Ltd., NPF Berkut Ltd. have been performing preparing works at their sites in Novoorlovskaya SEZ.

In opinion of SEZ branch heads the year of 2012 promises to become a time of “great construction” in SEZ St. Petersburg.
