Students of LETI will get additional scholarship from Rakurs Company

The results of “Best diploma projects” contest was resumed on 28 of June 2011 at Rakurs Company. The contest has been hold among graduating students of Saint-Petersburg Electrotechnical University "LETI", The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Automatics, because of Rakurs 20th anniversary.
Best students have performed their diploma projects to the committee, which consisted of managers and engineers of SPC Rakurs Ltd. and lecturers of the University.
Four students were awarded prizes. Ruslan Nuriakhmetov and Nikita Tishaev were awarded the first prize of monthly scholarship for their diploma projects: “Modernization of laboratory bench for research of three-phase asynchronous machine with phase-wound rotor” and “Substitution schemes for elements of power-supply system”.
The second place and opportunity to undergo training at Rakurs Company have been given to Pavel Ponomarev and Dmitry Knyazev with their diploma projects: “Development of a unit for measurement of mode parameters of synchronous generator” and “Designing of synchronous explicit-pole generator for power plant”.
SPC Rakurs has long-term partnership relationships with LETI University. Training and Educational Center of Rakurs Company is situated at the territory of Robotics and Industrial Automation Department of the University. This Training Centre was founded in 1994 as a joint project of Rakurs Company, Omron Electronics Company and the University.
